me try one more time. Has any one installed the Lokar Emergency Brake

Subject: FTE Pre61 - Electrical Update

I am in the process of an electrical upgrade on my '50 F-1. I have ordered
a new wiring harness with turn signals and set-up for 12 volts. I had the
generator rewound. I am getting ready for some heavy-duty assembly of the
cab and the electrical system, but I have a few questions:
1) What ballast resistor do I use, does anybody have a part #?
2) What bulbs do I use for replacements? Headlights , etc.
3) What voltage reducer do I use for the guages? Using the orig panel and
sending units.
4) Do I need one for the gas guage?
5) A friend of mine has a condenser on his coil, is this needed?
6) What switches will work and which need to be replaced? Heater, dimmer,
light switch, etc.
Any help will be welcome.

I just bought a 53 w/ 79k miles on it- it is running with all original
equip- except a diff paint job(which will be redone)- I am new to the classic
redo- I have been reading mags etc about the job and have been somewhat
overwhelmed by the differences in ways to go- I want to put ifs/auto trans/
air/ brakes/power steering- by looking at the catalogues it will be
astronomically high to do all this- are there any makes -year models of used
vehicles that you can buy to tear down and get all of this stuff at once or
do you have to get something from several different makes and year models to
do this kind of upgrade- any help or guidance to a book or article would be
greatly appreciated- thanks
