It is either;
1. A vacuum leak.

2. Lean (needs Rods or jets)

3. Dist. advance curve or Vacuum advance wrong.

I would bet on one or two.

I bought all the original style wiring for my '51 from "Wiring Harnesses
from Tyree Harris" at one of the Carlisles this year. Unfortunately for you,
his business card says "Ford-Mercury Cars - Trucks 1909-1959. Just missed.
I'd give him a call anyway, 14271 Boondock Lane, Montpelier, VA (no, not VT)
23192, 804-883-5200. Correct color, fabric coated, on and on. I have a
spotlight, so he just reeled off about 6' of black and threw it in, along
with some extra bullet connectors

Anyone out there know where to get a good 4 bar coil over rear for a '58
custom cab?
I know Sac. Vintage has one for 52-56 models, but do these kits work with the
'58 nine inch rear? Also any tips or info on installing a bobcat/pinto front
ifs on a '58? thanks in advance, Chris Moulder
