The 57 door handles - forward to lock, back to open. You may have to take
the assemblies apart since the grease gets sticky and sometimes the return
springs break. It's not hard to figure out once you take the bits out. Just
make sure the window is all the way up. By the way, you don't have to mess
with the key lock, the other pieces come out and leave it behind.

I need a little advise on my pass door fellas . After much lubricating for
days at a time and an attempt with applying heat to the phillips heads I
finally resorted to my trusty drill I still need to take out the floating
back plates to remove the bolts and retap Anybody out there have a
suggestion for taking these dudes out?

Thanks Al, and others for your response on the door locks. Glad to see I
could add levity to the lives of others as well. Looks like I'll have
another project for Spring Break lined up. Little did I know when I drug
the old Ford out of the weeds. . .
