I haven't seen this much response since somebody > announced they were dropping a ch*vy 350/350 into their Ford! What's wrong with tanks in cab? Easier to remove for repair, easier to fill with fuel and still talk with women inside, AND I WANNA die soon, so what if I blow up in wreck. ALSO, what's wrong with a chevy in a Ford? Ford HAD nice 70's trucks but always hated their engines. 350 just made a Ford a BETTER truck. HA-HA-HA-HA! I have a 62 Unibody that has the tank in the cab. i have recently taken the tank out of the cab and now am using the same tank in the bed up against the back wall. Only thing different is the tank will be filled from the passenger side and not the drivers side. I did weld up the old filler hole in the bed for the old tank location. This was a easy fix for me and later i will add a bed cover and this will help me hide my tank even further. I cant beleive how easy this was. Any questions just send me an e-mail. I am thinking of putting a Ch**y gas tank in my 6 Volt radio. I have never done this before and I need some advice. How many gallon tank should I use? Is a FORD radio better than a gm radio for this use? The hot set-up around these parts is a Granada radio in a Brougham tank with those Cordoba control arms for that smooth ride! We call that a triple header around here. ( I had to do it.)
