Subject: FTE Pre61 - Bad experence

Last year (8-18-98) I ordered a breather tube from "Ford F-100 Parts" for my
flat head. I specified that the tubes be in good shape because I planned on
having them chromed. Preston Ledbetter assured me he had tubes in stock that
were good enough to chrome. I sent Ford F-100 a money order for the full
amount. Three months later I received the tubes and they were in worse
condition than the tubes I was trying to replace. I called Preston and
received permission to return the tubes and he would return the money or send
me tubes in good enough condition to chrome. That was December 3, 1998. To
this date I have not received the money or breather tubes. I have Faxed him
and called him and I just get empty promises.

I'm not sure about how he does bussiness now, but I know my Dad used to buy
parts from him many years ago, and never had any problems with him. Just my
two cents...
