I am also looking for hubcaps for my truck because the old ones are beat up pretty bad. The biggest engine that will fit the motor mounts on that 55 F-100 is the 312 Y-block. There is a Y-block list on onelist.com, I believe. Subject: FTE Pre61 - Vented drums Sorry, I've been away and I'm reading old mail, but I guess I'm just another in a long line; I'd love to see that info on vented brakes. It's too late for the front but I wonder if this would improve the rear enough to get away with not having to install power brakes. My last posted question remains unanswered, which was; Any hints on changing my single circuit brakes to dual. Kits etc? F3 for sale in western Kansas several weeks = ago. The current owner bought it from an old farmer. It had hubcaps. = They appeared to be original. The only thing on the truck that may have= been a later add on was the radio. Slick truck, flat head V8 and four = speed. 60K. They were asking $4500. It had the pickup long bed and 17"= tires. Just thought I would share. If anyone is interested I'll get = a phone number or e-mail address for the folks. Western Kansas trucks = sometimes have very little rust. It is hot and dry out there.
