Barry,
You might try Sanderson Headers in Calif., 1-650-583-6617. They make a great
short (10") block hugger type. I have 400 heads on my 351 and got them silver
ceramic powder coated in and out. They don't require gaskets, just a bead of
silicone sealant. Make sure you torque and retorque them after initial start
because the mounting surface will warp. I know because I messed mine up and
had to resort to using gaskets.

Jerry,
I have that front mount that bolts to the block. It's on the motor I pulled
out of my 55. Let me know.-Kent

It exits the cab on the passenger side, just to the right of the
transmission cover. I think the speedo cable went through that hole as well.

>2- Where does the rear axle brake hose attach to the frame?

There is a bracket bolted to the frame on the left side about 4 inches
ahead of the axle.

Solonoid is on the firewall, passenger side, above where the battery
originally was. It's either next to or right under the plate with the VIN.

Try http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.vintagespeed.com. I haven't ordered anything there, but did
exchange e-mail to get a quote for some fuel lines. Anyway, they show parts
for Holley 94 carbs, including the pump link. He also has parts for
Stromberg 97's in case your carb isn't as stock as you think it is.

Okay, so now the burning question is how many teeth are there on the drive gear
(72 C4)? Once I know that I am in good shape.

Subject: FTE Pre61 - LTD Front Clip

I have a '53 F-100 that I would like to put a modern front end on. I also
have a '78 Ford LTD that has a signed donor card. The car has never been
wrecked, so other than an alignment, the front clip is good. My Question is:
Does anyone know which issue of which magazine has the article pertaining to
this swap? I know the article is out there because I have read other
articles that mention it. Also what about the wiring harness?
