I rescued a tailgate in decent shape, knowing that it was too big for my F-100, and I want to know if it is indeed for an F-250. Thanks, Abe (hate to see good sheet metal rust away)" Grover's tailgate is 54 3/4" wide and about 20 3/4" deep. By the way, I FINALLY got a cahnce when it was daylight to look not only at the tailgate, but the air deflectors. My '54 is about as stock as they get (Okay, I put an alternator on it!) and the air deflectors have two rods running diagonally across the front of the radiator to the mounting flanges on each side. I am 99% certain all the sheet metal is original because the original owner did his own repairs with a welder and a ball peen hammer! - -- Don Neighbors '54 F250 Named Grover "Any dropped tool or part will automatically fall into the most innaccesible part of the vehicle." grover == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of pre61-list-digest V2 #343 ******************************** +- Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1948 - 1960 Trucks and vans --------------+ | Send posts to pre61-list | List removal information is on the web site. |....
