The new chat server is down. Sorry for not announcing it.
It had severe problems under load that didn't show up in
testing. I'm looking for options right now, but it doesn't
look good. None of the free solutions look like they'll
work for us so I'm trying to find a chat engine FTE can
afford.

Brian,

There was not much left of the seat when I got the truck. Some material and
stuffing, but mostly just the wire frame. I am not concerned with returning
the truck to original condition. Just looking for something comfortable to
sit on while using the truck.

1) Has anyone rebuilt a steering box for a 1955 F100? I'm curious as to how
hard it is to rebuild?
2) The 1955 F100, has a 1967, 390 in it. If I was to upgrade the steering, up
to what years could I use that would bolt on?

Hi Sean

The bench seat from 57 to 66 will for sure bolt straight into your truck. The
only difference is each year has a different upholstery design. I haven't
finished the research, but I'm confident that the bench seats to 78 will bolt
straight in as well.

ken....i am a Travel Agency owner, also a f 100 owner, i am thinking about
attending by air and rental car....no way would my truck make it,
i would happy to advise any one what the best airline price would be.

Subject: FTE Pre61 - Bench seat for 57

not sure of the deminsions of the 57 seat as I have a 56, but I have found
that the seat out of a 97, 98 Ford F150 has almost the exact same deminsions
as the 56 seat. Width, seating heigth, and deptht are very close. I used one
in my 56 from a 98 F -150 and it not only looks good and was an easy
instalation, but is also very comfortable.
