This is the OTHER site I subscribe to, and you can get a lot of good
info there about Y-block engines.

Hi guys. Thanks for all of the great info. I am puting the front fenders,
etc back on, but before I do I thought I might paint my engine. I have a
56 f100 w/223 6 cyl. Does anyone know the colors of this engine. It looks
like the block was yellow and the head was red. Valve covers?. I have
heard some say use the body color on the engine. Others have said use POR15
(black or gray) on the entire thing. Any ideas. My Engine is pretty
rusty. POR15 my be good.... What have you all done

Mac's and Concourse are out of stock, but Faxon Auto Literature has it for
$29. I suppose some of the other literature dealers like Walter Miller
(www.autolit.com), Bob Johnson's Auto Literature (www.autopaper.com) or
other dealers in Hemmings would have it.
