Subject: FTE Pre61 - Single to Dual MC question

Pray tell - what is the part number of this bolt-in, dual resevior MC
replacement?!?!? Could you please let me know as I have been pondering
the best way to replace my single resevior MC for the past couple of
years for my truck... and I'm not lucky enough to have a good buddy in
the biz who could spend the time to look up a suitable replacement for
the stock 'fruitjar'.

full size trucks, Ltd, Crown Victoria, SVO Cobra Mustang, Mustang,
Toreno, Mercury, ...well you get the picture.

And anyone says you can't make a performance motor out of it, never
had to run a 427 stroker version of it, or got roasted by the SVO Cobra,

Many thanks to all of you in helping me sort through this engine thing.
I am going to be pulling out the YBlock in my 55 soon and I am looking
for eithe price suggestions or bids.

It is an all original factory installed 312 (Intake, exhaust, carb, Oil
bath air cleaner) attached to a Borg Warner 2 speed "Ford-O-Matic". I
have no clue of the value. The engine is in good shape (been my daily
driver for about two years) and I want to send it to a good home.

anyone out there interested in a brand new set of Ford Power Train Stage 1
429/460 headers? I bought them, they don't fit my clip and I can't return
them.

I had them built with a 3/8 flange and they cost $360. Sell for $275.

Subject: FTE Pre61 - 52 F-1/302-C4 driveshaft

I have a 52 F-1 that I've installed a 302/C4 into. The tranny mount lines
up with the original transmission cross member. Does anyone know what
model Ford drive shaft I can use on it to connect to a Granada diff?
Somebody once said a 66 Mustang, but those are rare around here. Thanks.

Everything will fit just fine, except for the air dam under the hood and the
front piece of sheet metal in front of the bottom of the radiator. I removed
mine and never put them back in and it was AOK.

No, you shouldn't have any problems. There are holes in the inner fenders for
both locations of the radiator mount. The 6 cyl flatheads were longer than the
V-8 so everything will fit in either position.

Randall,

I did a 51 the same way, I just took the old drive shaft from the truck and
had it cut to fit. FInd a good driveshaft guy and he will tell you were to
measure from. It only costs around 50.00 to get it done here in NJ and it was
perfect, like it belonged there all along.
