Anyone know the phone number for a company named Flat Products, or Speedway
Motors ? I am thinking of converting the 3 speed tranny(239 flathead) to an
automatic.
I retieved these names from the FTE list

Thanks,
Sam In Mt. Sterling, KY.

sam, the number for speedway is 1-800-736-3733. I`m in the process of
changing my fordomatic to a c4 in my 53 vicky. In the process I`m changing
to a full tilt merc flatty instead of the 239 ford. Garry

Hi Gang,

It has been quite awhile since I had anything worth while to contribute to
the site. I found a new parts supplier that I think most of you may want to
bookmark:

A & A Fifties Ford Parts
1847 Young Avenue
Paradise CA 95969
530-877-7877
Fax: 530-877-7855
www.aandaford.com
info andaford.com

I found them by posting a wanted ad on the Y-block web page. Was looking
for the spare tire mount for our 55Effie. They sent me an email that said
they had the part. The price was very fair and best of all it was received
EXACTLY as described. This, as we all know, is very refreshing.

This completes the F100. We will now be focused on the few things that
Wanda needs to complete her 54 Sunliner. BTW, while it is great to get the
wife involved I am not certain that her priorities are exactly the same as
mine. Heck, how many cars can we guys wax in one weekend?

Best regards to the gang,

Howard and Wanda

Thanks to everyone that contributed the information I needed for deciding
which welder to buy. I finally decided on a Century Mig unit. It run me about
$340 and came with some accesories such as tips, etc.

I finally got a new web page up and running. The truck featured is my current
project. If You get a chance, give it a look. It is not a commercial site,
just my personal web page.
