Its still early in the project but real easy to get done. She has the original 272 with only 80,518 miles on her. The truck is located in Florida. If anyone is interested please e-mail me. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 13 Jun 1999 11:52:46 -0500 From: "Randy Selby" Subject: FTE Pre61 - 3 speed Transmission I opened up the 3 speed top-loader for my '50 F-1 and found 2 broken gears. The reverse-low sliding gear and the reverse idler gear are useless. Does anybody have extras lying around? Maybe someone that has swapped trannies has an old 3 speed underfoot that you'd be willing to get rid of or part out. All help will be appreciated. I used to have it written down but I can't find it. I'm reasonably sure I'm not going 50 down my driveway, so I want to get it right. ~Dan 1950 F1 351C--On the road again and feeling good! 1992 Mustang --Now I know why they say to take the bra off when it rains. :( 1965 Mustang--Coming Soon???
