Does anyone know when the dash to the dells truck show is this year ? =
It's usally at the end of August or early September. I havn't seen any =
info yet this year but would like to go. This is a small show I believe =
around 50-100 trucks were there last year. But it's only a few hunded =
miles from me so going would be less of a problem then trying to get to =
Pidgon Forge. =20

Subject: FTE Pre61 - "Trouble Shooting for Dummies"???

Guys&Gals
I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to auto mechanics....and even though
my 59F-100 looks extremely simple under the hood, I'm pretty much at a loss
on just where to start troubleshooting - (it won't start!). OK, let's
see...is it getting
gas?,...getting fire?....hmmmm.
So...any recommendations on best book(s) for showing the novice step by step
the correct order/procedures for finding problems? (it won't start!). I can
troubleshoot the heck out of a computer program or website problem...but
I spend an awful lot of time staring under the hood saying "hmmmm?".
Any help would be greatly appreciated......."Have you helped a weenie
today?"

If you don't already have enough responses, I have heard of a streetrod show
that is to be held in Memphis -- and if it is on the radio, it must be soon.
If you want, I can follow up on it. Is 2 trips to TN too much?
