About 4-6 weeks ago, someone posted a note that they were having a hard time
locating drums for 48 or 49 F-1, and stated they found rear drums from 70 or
72 Ford passenger vehicles were a match.... Anyone else remember this???

Thank you, but I have a '49. Auto Zone told me that Wagnor does not make
them
anymore.
Thanks

You will most likely find the service manual is available from Walter Miller
Auto Literature. He has a web site.

Take a look at 72 rear drums-- I had a Hell of a time finding any drums for
my 52, however, the shop said that 72 rears were IDENTICAL to what was
required. We put them on and the truck stops EVERY time!! Check it out;

Web chat is back up. The chat server has the same problem
it had last spring (hanging after a period of time). It
doesn't free resources very well. But.... its the fastest
chat I've found and it uses virtually no system resourses.
To get around the hanging problem, the chat server is
restarted 5 minutes before the start of each hour. At that
time, the chat server is down for about 30 seconds. You
have to log back in to use it. I know its a hassle, but
its the only solution for now.

Hi Ray,

There is a guy in MO who runs ads under truck parts/ford in hemmings by the
name of Glen Marion. He has an ad for a complete 55 radio. Give him a
call. He will answer all the "Questions".

Sorry I have not sent the alt yet. My daughter came up from FL and I have
not been up to the shop. Will get it out this week.
