I saw a magazine article a while back about putting a Volari
clip in a 57, that said Bob's F100's sold a pattern set to do this job. Check
it out.

1953-1964 are the same drums.... In Texas I found a pair for $85, A-Line Auto.
I also see that Mac's Antiques has them. AutoZone is good start...

I can't find the old box I got mine in. But I got them at Auto Zone for my
52
f-1 the parts guy couldn't find a number for them but they are the same up to
65 I think. And he found a listing for that year bolted right on and have
been working fine. Brakes that work, Do make an old truck more fun......

Bill,
A little while back I did some research and put together a web page on
front suspension options. I really believe that if a crossmember is
available for your frame, the Mustang II kits are the best way to go.
You can see my IFS page at: http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.easy.com/goodwrench/ifs.html
The page includes a lot of references.

I recently attended a show/swap meet in Pleasanton Ca. I saw several
trucks with overhead radio consoles. I have been thru all of my
catalogs and cannot find any listed. I think that will work in my
truck. If anyone knows a vendor for this item e-me or post the name
here.

Thanks,

Dan Lee

The consoles are actually really easy to make your self. We have one
in our 52 and it looks great. All that we did was make the frame out
of metal, attach it on the sides of the cab and on just above the
front window and then make "trays" for the stereo, cd player and amp
to sit on. We also put a fan up there to keep it cool.
