I really believe that if a crossmember is available for your frame, the Mustang II kits are the best way to go. You can see my IFS page at: http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.easy.com/goodwrench/ifs.html The page includes a lot of references. goodwrench goodwrench Check out Goodwrench's CyberRanch: http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.easy.com/goodwrench/ - ----- Original Message ----- Subject: FTE Pre61 - 57 front clip help >is there any literature or a how to do it yourself book on changing the >front clip of a 57 pickup.? thanks == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 26 Nov 1998 18:33:50 -0800 (PST) From: Dan Lee Subject: FTE Pre61 - Overhead Radio Consoles I recently attended a show/swap meet in Pleasanton Ca. I saw several trucks with overhead radio consoles. I have been thru all of my catalogs and cannot find any listed. I think that will work in my truck. If anyone knows a vendor for this item e-me or post the name here. We have one in our 52 and it looks great. All that we did was make the frame out of metal, attach it on the sides of the cab and on just above the front window and then make "trays" for the stereo, cd player and amp to sit on. We also put a fan up there to keep it cool.
