Go to the Classic Truck Shop at: http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://classic truckshop. com/idname.htm This will explain it. Also, go to the Y-Block page for help in looking for a V-8 for your '55 at: http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://members.aol.com/Yblock/YBLOCK.htm Good luck with your truck!
