It does have longer rails overall but I will need to measure other dimensions. I was also toying with the idea of extending the cab on my '55 f-100 but came to the realization that I don't have the time now to do it so the f-250 is just taking up space. By the way, it has some rust on the doors and front fenders but the rear cab corners appear to be solid and clean. Engine also runs but has a leak in radiator. It seems a shame to gut the 95 for drivetrain and wiring for the 55. Not to mention that the 95 has disc brakes, power steering etc. Ethan == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 15 Oct 1998 13:26:59 -0400 From: Ken Payne Subject: FTE Pre61 - ADMIN: T-shirt contest, cheating The voting for the t-shirt on the web site is being removed due to several people cheating. Nearly 10 people have cheated and voted multiple times. One person even voted 9 times. The voting results are going in the trash since it seems that some of the list members can't be honest about this. I knew there was a potential for cheating because I use IPs instead of cookies to track who voted. All most users have to do is hang up, dial in and they have another IP. However, its quite obvious whats going on when we have several users on the list with an uncommon host address and their host address shows up many times in the IP log. Once I have a solution to prevent dishonesty, I'll let everyone know. Your rear end is a 3.00 to 1, a little tall for a flathead around town, but it will be real sweet at about 65 mph. With a 28 inch tall tire you will be turning 2340 RPM, right in your flatty's sweet spot.
