I have the box installed. Put the cab back on the frame and went to line up my GM tilt column (a 78 Buick) and it doesn't fit. The shift plate near the bottom of the column (that rotates the linkage to change gears-automatic trans) is at the same level or slightly above the floorboard in the cab. Not good. Has anyone done this conversion? They say it's a popular way to get power steering without cutting the frame in half...but so far it's not been easy. Also if someone has put a tilt wheel in their truck what did you use for the hanger on the dash. They sell 2 or 3 inch drop hangers but their kind of pricey for what they are?
