Hey Guys,

I also used the Cordorba (read Volare) clip on my 53, and I chose the
alternate path. Instead of changing the volare rotors, I redrilled
the Lincoln 9" rear axles and rotors. Since I had them at Mosers
being shortened they redrilled and pressed in the studs (for $ 40.00 I
think) Now all four are the same but with a 1/2" smaller pattern. BTW
they did the axles and I did the rotors on a drill press.

Just another option I thought I'd pass along.

The Volarie's under the 59 forever now / Thanx to all that talked me into
doing it.
Cuting a perfectly good 40 year old frame with a sawzall took some nerve and
alot of coaxing. If anyone is thinking about doing this remember "measure
twice/cut once"
(I measured at least 30 times) Thanx again. Now to the back end .....Full
width minus 8" Seeya'll

Hey EH Just a note on the Volare / Ford wheel thing, as I too am
faced with this situation..... what about re-drilling the Ford axles to
accept the Volare pattern ? I don't have the wheels yet, but I would
like to use American Racing's Torque thrust "D" and I'm not sure but I
don't think they come in Ford truck pattern. Any thoughts on going this
way? Bill - puke green primer '56

I have a 52 F1 with the original engine and transmission. I would like to find
out if a standard transmission can be converted to a transmission with over
drive? If it can what does it take? If not, what year over drive transmissions
will bolt up to a flat head and still look original? Does any one know how to
get in touch with RICHMOND Gears?

Thanks

Sorry that I didn't get in touch with the people I promised to
call about this. Been working late.

Anyways, for the FTE gathering at the Atlanta Motor Speedway
(US Ford Truck Fest).....

We'll meet Saturday at 3 at the main entrance ticket office.
This is by the club house and condos, Richard Petty statue is
out front.

Mail me if you intend to be there and I'll send you my phone
number so we can chat. I'd like to bring some folding chairs
and perhaps sit down and chat over a late lunch/early dinner.

Peggy and I will be wearing yellow F100 Supernationals t-shirts.
Just look for the heavy guy with brown hair and a beard (ok, not
a good description, there are a million people like that at
truck shows).

Folks,
Someone at a local car show recently told me of a Ford truck meet for F1's
and F100's that occurs every year in September in or near Wisconsin Dells.
Says they usually have 75 to 100 trucks. Does anyone have the particulars
on this? I've checked all the usual sources for a posting. Much
appreciated.

I've got a big window '57 F-100 that I'm trying to locate body parts for.
Dad has an Obsolete Ford Parts catalog and AutoKrafters catalog, but both
show a lot of parts up to '56 then skip '57's and go on to newer models. Can
anybody recommend other catalogs that have more for the '57? I really love
this truck. Dad says "it's so ugly it looks good". Thanks for any help.
