The later ones can be pulled up and out of the guide, the earlier ones cannot. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 09 Aug 1998 10:11:54 PDT From: "Bart Munns" Subject: FTE Pre61 - 48 Bed I have a 52 Ford F-1, I'm pretty sure the plank set up is the same, but to take mine out, I took a logging spike, you could use an awl, or a punch too, and I'd hit in the center of the plank. This would knock out a piece of oak from the center, and then you can pull the planks out by grabbing in the middle where the space is, and pulling inward. I didn't have any damage to the metal in my bed this way. It's fast and easy too.
