In 54 the vin was screwed on, if you have the correct numbers of the
truck (verify that they match the frame) Mid-fifty's will make a new
one for you $75.00. 1-800-252-1956

Conor,

If you see a picture you'd like for wallpaper, just right click on the
picture, you will see a small pulldown menu and left click on 'set as
wallpaper'.

To download any pictures or or artwork, just right click on your mouse button and it

will ask you what you wnat to do with the pic. You can save it as a file or
wallpaper.

Good Morning, Today is the first time i have been on the list so let me =
Say hello to everyone!!!!!
my name is david and i am restoring a 53'

VIN #'s are located on the front crossmember to the left and in front of =
the radiator, they are
stamped into the metal crossmember and they will match your title, this =
is the only place DMV
will check because you can have repo tags made for the glove box door.

On your pictures, find a picture you like click your right mouse button =
and select save as wallpaper

not they are happy with there decision.
I am looking for a sweet low stance with a comfy ride. any help would be =
greatly

My Valore IFS allows for adjustment and looks g=factory orig by leaving
the fraim rails intact through to the front bumper.

I used a Mustang II IFS kit from Fatman Fabrications on my 54. Rides great,
the kit also allowed for the installation of rack and pinion steering with
the crossmember, I would highly recommend it. I just used the basic kit and
got all the suspension parts out of the junkyard, and put new v8 springs in.

Hi, new to the list, etc.
I've got a '53 F-100 too. I kept the beam axle and installed monoleaf
springs and new hardware all around. The change (good-bye kidney-killer)
was impressive. I'd recommend it as an alternative to a full ifs
installation. The cost runs about $400 per axle, as I recall.
