Subject: FTE Pre61 - vin code

If the letter K is for the Kansas City assebly plant, the truck was not
assembled in Kansas, it was assembled in Missouri. Kansas City, Missouri
is older and larger than Kansas City, Kansas. K.C.,Mo. have the Chiefs,
the Royals, the American Royal, and the Ford assembly plant where they
build Ford trucks (actually in Claycomo, Mo.). K.C.,Ks. only has the GM
assembly plant and they are not running because of the GM strike.

Subject: FTE Pre61 - Spare Tire Again

Sorry Folks,

I received several replies to my request to purchase a under
bed spare tire carrier and all of them got deleted. (pilot error).

Now that the Olds is up in smoke, I'll spend the time I had
set aside for that project to detail the heck out of Effie.

Could those who said they could help with the spare mount
please resend their messages.
