Paul: A few years ago I saw a really nice '56 (I think) with a set of
Plymouth Horizon/Dodge Omni front seats. Having driven a Horizon for 4
years, I can attest to their comfort, and they are not too thick. I think
the guy that owned the truck was bigger than you. If you want a bench seat,
you ought to check with T-bird Terry. I think he is using a Lincoln seat or
something of the sort.

Gary: See, I told you the last time I saw stacks they were on a Dodge!
Should I apologise for calling you a Kentucky resident, by the way? Buying
the tri-power for my wife's birthday won't work. Her birthday is only 6
days after mine. I suspect she would be more than a little suspicious!

Subject: FTE Pre61 - California get together

Hello List Members,

There has been some discussion the 61-79 list of having a get together
somewhere in California. At this point in time, I do not know where, or
when it would take place. Right now I am trying to gather some information
so we can try and pick a date and location for the get together. So, I
need your help.

Question one.
I would like to know how many people would be willing to attend this get
together, if they can.

Question two.
Can anyone suggest a time and place in California that we could have this
get together. It would be nice if we can do this in conjunction with some
other Truck event that is happening then. Such as a Truck show, swap meet
or something.

Would you please email me privately, to help keep the list traffic down, at
herbie netvalue.net with your responses. When you respond, please include
the city you reside in with your response. This information will be kept
confidential.

Thank you !

Hey folks,
I've been hunting thru the pictorials on the ford-truck site and ran
across Jeff Hoffman's beautiful purple 56.
I've got a question about it... Jeff, are You out there?
Does anyone have Jeff's email address?

Thanks,

Steve

Subject: FTE Pre61 - 460 distributor drive pins

Hey all. I'm a little behind on my email. Just read about the trouble
that Mike has with his 460 distributor drive. I had a similar problem
with the 460 I had in a '73 bird. One broke on my way home from work,
about a block from home. I heard a small pop, like a backfire though the
carb, and I coasted into my driveway. The second time I had just
launched our boat when it happened several months later. Had to get
towed up and off the launching ramp to the parking lot. We still had a
good day of water skiing though. I checked everything out both times,
timing, timing chain slack, etc. Never did figure out what was wrong if
anything. This is the first time I hae ever heard of anyone else having
the same problem. I always thougt it was the automobile gremlins picking
on me again.
