(i.e. costs, sources >etc.) David, One method I have seen used is using the hydralics I guess you would call it from a power convertible top out of a junkyard. If you E-mail Fordnut428 think this is the procedure he used. ______________________________________________________ ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 16 Dec 1997 16:15:49 -0800 From: jc& terry Subject: tilt front From: David Stokes Subject: tilt front I have a 56 with a ful tilt front end. Hey thanks for the response. It's good to know someone else out there likes the cabovers. Mine is at the body shop now getting repainted the original dk metalic blue. I would really like to get a windshield sunvisor ASAP to send to the shop for painted but I don't know where to find one. I think the cabovers especially look great with visors. Concerning the milk truck (what are they called anyway?) it is relatively small and boxy and has the same basic nose as the F-series truck kind of stuck to the front of the box. Is this what you refered to as the "P-Series"? It is stragely cute. What the heck, If a person drives and appreciates an old cabover for any length of time, anything smaller is bound to be perceived as cute. I noticed the "I hope" concerning the diesel engine. That's a hope I would like to accomplish someday as well. For now the little 292 Y-block purrs like a kitten. >Mon, 15 Dec 97 17:39:18 PST >From: mcat >Subject: RE: Cabover or step van trucks anyone? > > Ray, > I own a 48 f5 cabover and a56c600 cabover!
