Scan in a bitmap image, vectorize it with Adobe Streamline (or similar), then correct the shapes with Adobe Illustrator (or similar). You get an EPS image that can be perfect. Then a vinyl shop can cut it or you can have a decal made. We can do a small job for you. Thanks for the responses on engine colors. Does anyone know about the colors of the sixes and four used in the 40's and 50'? Thanks. Pat Ertel This Old Truck magazine. The 56 is complete but not totaly stock. The 48 is just a complete cab and fender assembly. The 56 will be powered by a 6.9 ford-ih deseil soon I hope. What are you looking for exactly? Could it be one of the original p-series vans that came out in 53? Or the Divco trucks that used the Ford running gear? From what I understand the preferred method of cutting the glass is sand blasting. I also have to agree with T-bird Terry, if you can find somewone to cut, grind, or blast and they break it, you bought it. I also might add that number of shops that do this work is getting smaller due to the popularity of chop tops not being what it was a few years ago. The person who did this (prior to my ownership) did not put on any type of a power ram to open the front end. Does anybody have info on this type set up?
