Should've bought Ford... www.ford-trucks.com Though I suspect the submission was supposed to be a joke. Let me know what everyone thinks, perhaps this should go to a vote? If so, printing will be delayed by a day or two (press time is supposed to be Monday.) Also, I'm going to check to see if a Ford blue color will show up through window tint. If it does, the sticker will change to Ford blue. I need to locate the Vehicle Identification Number. I have looked at the firewall, glove box and doorpost with no luck. I have heard that the frame is also marked. Can anyone tell me where to look? Dan Lee '53 F100 351C-4V ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 03 Oct 1997 21:59:17 -0500 From: Suzanne & Steve Ainey Subject: VIN location on 39 Just purchased a 1939 Ford pickup. I need to verify the VIN number on it. I've found the one on the driver side of the frame, but three of the numbers are unreadable. Is there another place that the VIN is located. As far as I know the truck is all original. Additionally anyone know where I can find a three carb setup for a 39 flathead?
