Everything original works when changed to negative ground (even the radio), except the ammeter reads backwards. That's easily changed by running the wire through the loop on the back the other way. I've heard some theories that positive ground works better on the secondary ignition, which is why some people switch. I think the throat size is 2 5/8". However, Ford used that Holley carb until the mid 60's so you might find one in a boneyard. Also check out Paul's 1952 Ford Truck Page, http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://hometown.aol.com/pwptruck1, he shows how to convert an oil bath air cleaner to paper element. As to the exhaust manifold, finding a used one for a 215 that is not cracked is not easy which is why I went to a 223. Just need to make a new exhaust pipe. FYI, my tank came from a 93 Rodeo. Seems all Isuzu tanks from the Rodeo, Trooper, and Amigo (not sure about the pickup) are the same from mid 80's to mid 90's. With that many vehicles in that wide of a range, it should be no problem to find one.
