Also I think some of the 85, and I am sure the 86 came with a pump installed for fuel injection engines. The tank I installed in my truck did not have the pump, which was just as well with me as I have a carburated engine. Its been down since the 1st (only 12 days, not "the last few weeks") pending getting higher priority items working such as: 1. banner ads for our paying advertisers 2. Making sure the web store was switched over securely 3. getting all our domain names transferred 4. the message boards 5. the mailing lists 6. AFTE email accounts 7. AFTE ftp accounts 8. non-profit club email accounts 9. non-profit club ftp accounts 10. getting the web server logs to zip, email and reset correctly every hour (they get so big that they can fill up their directory in half a day) 11. getting the web site search back up 12. getting the pictorial updated (its 3 months behind) 13. getting cron scripts back up 14. Getting the Jave VM installed (needed for chat) 15. Re-installing the chat As you can see, it's the lowest priority. It just doesn't get enough participation to rank anywhere else. I rebuilt the 292, added a 4-bbl carb with headers and dual exhaust, rewired, reupholstered and repainted everything in the cab interior and the engine bay. You might say Bertha has inner beauty, since I haven't done squat to the bodywork or exterior paint. Anyway, I thought since I'd be breaking in a rebuilt engine I'd install a a tach to keep tabs on my engine RPM. It works great, along with the rest of the truck, only I don't know what my redline should be, or what RPM I should be limiting myself to during the break-in. Anybody out there have any wisdom to share on this subject? The Ford Truck Enthusiasts web chat is back up. The Java VM we're running is a much newer version than the one on our previous server. It should be much more stable. However, as a precautionary measure, it will restart every hour until I'm comfortable with its operation.
