Where can i find my VIN number on my 1954 F100 - i have been told its in the glove box door for starters but there is no plate there, would it be on the frame, or some other location as well?

I have it registered and so did the previous owner but i have to go thru aircar and they will not let me thru for the test without this ID number on the vehicle.
