Near the end of the movie "Shawshank Redemption", A 48-50 Series Ford
pickup drops "Red" (Morgan Freeman) off on a road near the hay field
that "Andy" had described to him while in prison.

Subject: 48 truck manual
Hello,
I recently purchased a 48 ford 1 ton. But it is in peices. Are there any
manuals that show where each peice is supposed to go.
Thanks,
Roy

I need a heater for a 52 F4. I think it is the same for all the F series. I
really only need the housing that holds the motor with the defroster nozzles
but I'll take what I can get. Also if anyone has a match set of ignition and
door cylinders that are in good condition w/ keys.

Thanks
Nick

If they don't carry it, the website is:
www.fordracing.com/performanceparts

The telephone number is: (810) 468-1356

The catalog runs $ 5.00, plus tax and/or shipping.

Subject: HELP with tire/rim sizes

Hello Folks...

Drive a 56 F-100 (dead stock) w/50K orig/miles. Just ordered a set of the
original style rims, seven inches wide w/zero off-set. My problem is
deciding on the correct size rubber for the fronts and rears....any help with
those of you who have experience in this matter is appreciated.....FYI: my
original idea for the change was to improve ride and to eliminate the
illusion created of/in the rear wheel wells. Thanks Again.

ciao,

rothauto worldnet.att.net His prices are reasonable, has a good selection,
and service very prompt. Byron
