Eddie,
According to my 60 Shop manual. F250 came with a Spicer, F350 and bigger with
either a Timken or Eaton. All of these companys still exist in one form or
another.
Spicer is now Dana. Hope this helps.

If you go to an insurance agent, you can get a title
using a "title bond." The bond is basically a policy
based on the value of the car. It insures your title
against the possible "real owner" showing up with the
title. After 2 years (more or less depending on state),
your title is secure against claims because the state
now considers yours the only title. This method is
usually cheaper than finding a title company because
they have to do title searches.

i have been trying to find out what rear ends would bolt in to my 56 f-100 so
i can get higher gears.mine has a stock dana with like 393 gears in it. just
to low for highway use. either a 9 inch (what years?) or something from a
car.the easyier the better for me. is there such a thing available out there?
