Well, with all of the talk about the IFS here lately I am really stumped. I have my 60 model panel truck stripped down to the frame on the front end. i have a 79 station wagon frame that I was considering using for a sub frame, then I thought I would be better off to box the frame, weld in a cross member kit and use the Mustang 2. I was concerned from the beginning with the amount of sway because of the trucks weight and top heaviness. I have driven a truck my brother in law had with a Mustang 2 up front and the amount of sway was down right scary. My interest is peeked to use the Dodge pieces, any additional info on this. i would like to continue working on my truck in the next couple of weeks but when I do this I only want to do it once and do it right. As always any and all help i greatly appreciated. -Chris 60 panel 68 Torino GT fastback 67 Mustang fastback 56 f-100(for sale) ------------------------------ End of pre48-list Digest V2001 #12 ********************************** -------------------------------------------------------------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts offers books to help you restore your truck: -Ford Truck Parts Locating Guide -How to Restore Metal Auto Trim -1939-1948 Ford and Mercury Shop Manual for trucks and cars -1944-1952 Body Parts Catalog -1946 and 1947 Owners manuals -Columbia Axle Manuals -The Complete Ford Flathead V8 Engine Manual http://www.motorhaven.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts 1947 and Older Truck Mailing List Send posts to pre48-list If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list, send an email to: listar with the words "unsubscribe pre48-list" in the subject of the ....
