Subject: frame?

I have found another 39 Ford pickup that I plan to trade for in a couple
of weeks.  The truck is completely disassembled and complete and solid.
Every bolt is out of the truck.  The original frame comes with it but of
course it is rusted through, has been repaired and now the repair is
rusted through.
My question is this, what is the best frame, from experience that will
fit under this truck?  I have heard that an S-10 will work but in no way
will I use any Ch*vr#l*t stuff.  Will a Ranger work?  I am going to have
to build most of the bed, so if the wheelbase is not exactly correct I
should be able to make up for it by repositioning my rear fenders.
As always, all help is greatly appreciated.
