I have found another 39 Ford pickup that I plan to trade for in a couple of weeks. The truck is completely disassembled and complete and solid. Every bolt is out of the truck. The original frame comes with it but of course it is rusted through, has been repaired and now the repair is rusted through. My question is this, what is the best frame, from experience that will fit under this truck? I have heard that an S-10 will work but in no way will I use any Ch*vr#l*t stuff. Will a Ranger work? I am going to have to build most of the bed, so if the wheelbase is not exactly correct I should be able to make up for it by repositioning my rear fenders. As always, all help is greatly appreciated. -Chris 60 panel ------------------------------ End of pre48-list Digest V2000 #53 ********************************** ---------------------------------------------------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts 1947 and Older Truck List Send posts to pre48-list If you ever want to remove yourself from this mailing list, send an email to: listar with the words "unsubscribe pre48-list" in the subject of the message. ....
