Regarding my 1991 302 motor,,,,I noticed little water droplets on the dipstick and there is moisture in the vent tube from the valve cover to the air box. Is my head gasket gone?? The oil does not appear to affected in any way. Thanks in advance for the help. It is possible the water is a result of simple condensation which developes water droplets when the engine is used for short duration driving. It takes about 20 miles of continuous use to generate enough heat to "boil" the water out of the system. Is the engine used for short duration trips?
