Does anyone knnow how to mount a late model, 12 volt aternator to a flathead
v-8? Is there a magazine article anywhere explining it? I have had a
couple of people tell me to use a certain GM alternator from the late 70's
because it only has one wire to hook up. Is this correct? What about the
bracket and belt, do I just need to "rig" up something that will work?
Thanks to 47 Fred for the info on the wipers, very informative and
interesting.

The one wire alternators seem to work fine. If you have the wide belt
system, you will need a pulley and a bracket. These items are available at
several places including redshedr mcn.org.
