Gentlemen,

somewhere in the past two weeks I scarfed a .jpg file off someones website
of a beautifully detailed 460 engine... all chromed up with a big
doublepumper on what looks to be a torker manifold...motorsport valve
covers and chrome a/c compressor and distributor with those neat heim joint
spreader bars between them...it was in what looks like a dark red truck...
the file name was 460winner.jpg and it was !!
I (being an old guy) forgot where I stole it... I'm very interested in the
serpentine drive setup...  does this setup sound familiar to anyone or can
anyone lead me toward the 460 serpentine setup ???

John,

I don't know the truck, but I do know that March performance now makes a
serpentine kit for the 429/460 and I believe Zoops has one in development.

I just bought an Equus tachometer for my '72 F-250 Custom.  My friend and I
tried to install it but it appeared no power was going to the tach when I
started it up.  Both the power and light wires are hooked into the
instrument panel fuse.  There is only about 4 or five other fuses (a far cry
from the 60+ in my dad's '98).  Would the fact that the cable going into the
back of the instrument panel have anything to do with it? Any help would be
much appreciated as I need the tach to work to help me tune in my carb since
I just rebuilt it.
