Sanderson says they have a model to fit. Subject: Re: sanderson headers Date: Wed, 13 Dec 2000 13:00:45 -0800 John, The only experience I had is when I was trying to fit some 429 headers in my 55 with a T-Bird clip. They didn't fit, but they were great to deal with. I called on a Sat and they were closed. A women answered the phone and said since she was there to come on down and look at them. She then let me take the headers home to see if they would fit. When they didn't she took them back without a pause. Nice people. Date: Wed, 13 Dec 2000 22:41:56 GMT Subject: Re: sanderson headers I helped CJ install some on his 428, they were the block hugger style, they didn't fit around the oil pan quite right, but a little persuasion and we got enough clearance for them to work ... considering the other chioces for FE's this was acceptable ... good quality stuff other than that, the Jet Hot coating was really durable, didn't even crack from our pounding. The problem was they'd fitted the headers without a windage tray or oil pan on the test motor. Subject: Re: sanderson headers I've seen quite a bit of their cast iron headers on street rods. Very high quality. That's a great story about them being open on saturday, you just don't get customer service like that. And when you do, people need to know about it. That's service that I would pay for, gladly.
