What a hoot(us)!  Well worth the ink cartridge that expired during the *84*
page print out.  I'm sure more people will appreciate that then the ink I used
for the entire gasoline FAQ.  I can't tell you how many kleenex Kim and I went
through from laughing as I read her selected posts.  Now... how are we at FTE
going to top this?  <BG>

Well..

i) It WAS an Explorer involved.

ii) An FTE'er provided the ultimate final solution if you read it all.

iii) Reading the equipment lists (and sig. files) provides some insight on the
popular upgrades.

I'm just wondering how it never popped up in the 'small' mail list. ;-)

Tim

Subject: PASSINGER SIDE FRONT AXLE FOR D-44

i seem to have broken my front "PASSENGER" side axle from my dana-44
HOW i broke it going DOWN hill   we shall never know
however ears/u-joint are gone from passenger side front axle (the long
one)
and stub shaft..
SOB-5 is in 2 weeks.. $$$ are not much...
as much as i would like a dutchman or warn that may not happen..
What models/Years ford F- ???? are junk yard donors for the long axle../
stub shaft..
i know the short side is special.. however i seem to recall the long
side "never"
brakes and is a "stock" length..

(on the good note: EB runs GREAT for first time off road since Nov=99
baja run..
Carb problems solved with the predator.. and C-6 stayed WAY cool..- Now
all i need is a few sponsors/drivers for Nov-2000  (and rear king
shocks...)
