Don't know about on line, but Birmingham Spring, 201 2nd Ave S., Birmningham, Al. is great. Talk to Ray in the machine shop. Ph# (205) 251-6281. They have just about anything pertaining to driveshafts from little bitty to Huge. Do a lot of custom shafts for all kinds of applications. I've used them on many occasions, and have never been disappointed. Not affiliated in any way except a satisfied customer. Some of the extra goodies: ARP Main Stud Kit ARP Rod Bolts Comp Cam's roller tip rockers Comp Cam's heat treated push rods StreetDamper (non SFI approved version of Vibratech's Fluidamper) Assorted Clevitte, Cloyes, Meling, Childs-Alberts, Badger, Carter goodies.. Machine work included but not limited to: Complete blueprinting balancing all rotating mass Zero Decking Align Boring Torque Plate cylinder bore (.040) Crank grind (.20/.20) chamfered and micropolished.. Boiled block, etc, etc, etc... Being that I don't have time, they disassembled and will resassemble.. When all is said and done, except for the bare block and heads will be brand new... With them doing a rebuild on my Holley as well, this is gonna end up costing me $1997 with $900 of it being parts.. and I supplied a finished set of heads (guide plates, screw-in studs, Comp Cam's springs.. they did a 3 angle valve jobs and put in new guides).. I have seen some of their engines in action at the local dragstrip (both Ford and Ch*vy), so I feel good about the price... won't be drag racin' but nice to know the engine is built to that kind of spec BTW.. that .040 bore makes it a 358.9ci.. can I just call it a 360... Hopefull next week I can put the engine back in the '64 and start the brakin fun.... I am really beginning to have old truck withdrawals... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Thousands of Stores. Millions of Products.
