Hi Tom,
It is very true. Ford was a member of United for over 20 years. We had the
same point of contact the entire time. He really believed in United!
Ford went through a major reorganization. Our new points of contact seems
to only be Voice Mail. I do not think this guy really exists. Now, there
has been a bit of undercurrent, that may indicate they are again
interested in us.

I've been dealing with Jacobs Electronics directly since about 1985 on and
off and have never had an experience like Tom had. I was sorry to hear
that, they've always been professional and courteous and never pushy. After
10 years, they replaced my spark plug wires sight unseen for just the cost
of the shipping. They also replaced a mileagemaster unit that was out of
warranty for 7 years with a better unit for about half list price. I was
happy because they didn't have to do anything. I hope the person you dealt
with has been fired by now because that has not been they way they have
operated in the past. Last time I dealt with them was about 3 months
ago..... Walt

Just looking for an opinion or two, and maybe confirmation on the
subject. Glad to know that I am a parasite... hold on, I have to go get the
sand out of my ears... thanks for your input.

For all of you who don't know...Jacobs Electronics was purchased by Holley
Corporation to be added into their conglomerate. If this doesnt change their
customer service, nothing will. I personally have the Jacob's nitrous
mastermind, a great piece, and I had to call them regarding the wet box and
directions that came with it. They sent me out a new unit, no questions
asked.

That's probably a shade narrow tire for that rim, but as long as its up to
pressure I don't think it would hurt the wandering tendancies ...

you've replaced a couple of parts already, any signs of the others being
worn as well ... I've found most of the time that the culprit is a worn ball
joint or tie-rod ...

i went through deep water and the engine
would not start but after 3 days of going out there and cranking it finally
started and ran bad for about 1 hour
and ran fine for about 2 months then it started pinging the day after I put
the headers on would that have anything to do wiht it??
please help
the headers do have bad leaks in the gaskets would that cause it??....
