I'm in the begining stages of planning a 289 performance rebuild and had
a couple questions. How many hp and rpms will factory connecting rods
handle? (with aftermarket bolts, of course) And the same question for
cast pistons? This will be a fairly lightweight car with an auto tranny
that will be used on the street and on the strip (1/8 mile) once in a
while.

The web site is getting stale so we've decided to give
a free t-shirt and window sticker to anyone who submits
an item we publish on the web site. Anyone who has
submitted anything since the 1st of October will also
get a t-shirt and sticker. Details can be found at:

Some lady in her 89 Carav*n decided that she wanted
to in the same stop that I was in with my 77 F150. She
smashed her front end all up and I have a scratch on my
license plate and my bumper is pressed in just a
little.

when I got my 56 F100, it already had 84 Crown Vic front and 79
Continental rear disks. The booster and m/c is from the CV, but the
pedal travel is too long for my liking. Is there a larger bore m/c I can
bolt on ?
