Somebody mentioned earlier that by taking a small sample piece with them
to the auto parts store (Checker, Autozone, Napa....) they were able to
match it to something similar for a reasonable price.

Well I didn't really fell like typing that "Kenne Bell has the exclusive
rights to the Autorotor twin-screw supercharger manufactured in Sweden on
Ford trucks", at least that's what I remember reading in the catalogue.

I don't know what good ordering just the supercharger would do you with an
EFI truck, unless you want to do a lot of fabrication and design, which I
assumed the original poster didn't.

Hi Tom,
Cool! I just picked up an intercooler from a Volvo 740 Turbo car for 85 CDN
(50US) at a junkyard... my winter project is a twin turbo 289 in a 68
Mustang fastback, I was supposed to pick up a turbo from a 85 T-Bird but it
was one out of an 87, too small...

Anyway if anyone on the list has experience adding turbos to carb'd cars I
would love to hear them. I have my general plan down and already gone
through the math to pick the right turbos, but still have a few unanswered
questions.

Yes but,..... FORD DID IT!!! As I remember the T-bird super coupe had a
roots type supercharger mounted on top of the V-6. The supercharger intake
was on the bottom of the charger it blew out the top thru an intercooler
mounted to the front of the car and back to the bottom of the blower where
the entrance to the intake manifold was. (Never said it would be easy)

the charger how about sharing the results!!!

a before and after 0-60, HP, and 1/4 mile times. They only cost 140US and
are a great little toy, and accurate as well.

Anybody running a Edelbrock intake on thier FE?
Any problems?
Only thing that guy selling it knows is that it is a single 4bbl
manifold off a 390,it is in "excellent"condition and he wants $50.
I realize some mods will be nessarary to linkage etc.

Called it in for mail delivery. It was three years ago, can't remember
the price. They're the big seals on the body that run all the way around
the door opening. It's a good catalog for that type of trim.

I haven't bought any my self, but I was told that it is worth the extra
money to buy ford oem seals rather than the ones from jc whitney the oem are
alot better quality
