Subject: FTE Perf - F250 Brakes

I'm considering the "modernizing" Grover's front brakes by installing
the later style dual wheel cylinders as opposed to those single
cylinders (Only ONE piston!!!) that currently are employed to slow the
truck down. It seems to me I'll need to borrow the backing plates and
brake assembly off a later F250. Has anybody tried this? Any
suggestions?

Subject: Re: FTE Perf - Valve noise

I checked the oil paths in the pushrod and the rocker arm, and they were both
wide open. I didn't pull the lifter, and I'm unclear as to how the oil gets
pumped up throught the lifter and on through the pushrod. In fact, anyone
that can explain exactly how a hydraulic lifter works would be appreciated.
