It belongs to a buddy of mine and I'm having a lot of trouble getting it running. I'm looking for point gaps and general troubleshooting. Maybe someone with a wiring diagram. Do any of you folks know what sort of a crank they were using? Welded up/reground 300? Custom? Or is there some sort of other Ford crank that can be modified to stick in a 300, like out of a diesel 6 cylinder or something? Calling all 300 hot rodders..... Would 2 batteries work instead? Tim >> Many companies like Stinger, and others, have alternators available from dual output 130amps per side, up to whopping 250 amps. The prices will hurt though...the dual output 130 goes for around $500.
