Well ya'll the time has come again, Monday they
come and pack my stuff up to ship it to my next duty
station. So I will have to take a break from the lists
until my stuff gets there. It has been a great
pleasure being on with you guys, this is the 2nd time
in the year plus that I have been on the list that I
have to take a list vacation. I hate to go through
those breaks. If any body needs to talk to me while
I'm off I will have access to my hotmail account
f10074 Thanks again to all of you Ken
keep up the great work. And sorry for all the guys
that thought I could some fine Fidel's (don't I wish).

You said a mouthful there Darrell! "Honey the Jones's have a SUV; I
want one too but I dont want a rough ride..." Bah.. I liked it better
when 'wheeling was for the few and we (mostly) respected the land we
rode on. Now everybody has one, prices are through the roof and
litter and other bad things are everywhere; is any wonder 'recreational
areas' are closing faster that drive-in movies? My old B-II is not an
SUV; maybe a UV but I dont think any of the production vehicles called a
"SUV" fall into a 'sport' category.. If you want sport buy a damn
Mustang. I know I would not want to hot dog a corner in a SUV like I
will in the Capri; I might push the envelope a little with each vehicle
I drive but the cornering speeds are much slower for the B-II and the
B-2000 than the Capris and the LTD.

Second take.. they want a truck that FEELS like a bed..

Oops.. somebody pushed one of my buttons again. I'll stop here.

V-12 Jags.

So many good engines gone by the wayside... by no means was this a
complete list, just what I could think of in a few moments.

A toast to all dead engine designs here as I raise my beverage in the
general direction of Detroit.

And this is why you'll see the F-350 (super duty?) with the 300; the low
RPM torque is awesome due to the long stroke of the engine. It pulls
like a diesel; sure the HP isn't all that, but for pure pulling it's a
hoss for it's size.

As always I'm subject to being wrong, but I dont think it's possible
without going to 2 Alt's. 130A is about the highest I've seen. Would 2
batteries work instead?
