Another thing that points to the motors being the same is the following line from the FMS "online" parts store: M-6000-A25 2.3L-2.5L CONVERSION KIT FOR 1989-97 2.3L ENGINES 40 Since there's a part number for a conversion kit, I'd guess the kit includes rods and crank, and that's probably about it ... here's the link for Ford's new Racing parts pages : http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.ford.com/fordracing/parts.html Just my 2cents wish Links http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.public.iastate.edu/~wish/links.html '73 1/2 ton 4x4 Ford http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.public.iastate.edu/~wish/truck.html '96 Mustang GT http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.public.iastate.edu/~wish/mustang.html == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of perf-list-digest V2 #160 ******************************* +--------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts - Performance ----------------+ | Send posts to perf-list....
