I'm not sure gear ratios will help you (other than to make it slower off
the line and want you to hit the secondaries more often) ... what sort of
timing are you running ? have you tried setting the timing with the vacuum
gauge ? If you have an RV cam, 6 or 8 is probably a little conservative ..
you might try 10 or 12 ... though watch for pinging ...

What kind of shape is the C4 in ? Have you put a higher stall converter in
it ? This will hurt around town mileage a lot ...

You might want to jump on the 61-79 list and get a hold of Marino (Tony),
he's got a couple, though we finally "converted" him to FE :)

Just kiddin, but he can probably help you out, he's got a 78 he's always
playin with.
