Does anyone have any experience with the Holley Pro-Jection4 system? I am
currently considering buying a system from an acquaintance($200). Could
some one give me some feedback regarding this system?
Thank you very much. Steve salas

I have used the Ignitor on my '64 Galaxie and am going to use one on my
'63 Marauder. They are worth it. I have no experience with aftermarket
coils while using it though, since I have not changed the coil in the '64
yet. Petronix maintains that you must use a coil with at least 1.5 Ohms
resistance. This resistance is built into the factory wiring, so it
shouldn't be a problem. I have thought about using an MSD Blaster 2 or
Summit Racings 60K volt coil. I wonder if the Summit Coil really
produces 60K volts when under load. Has any body used the Summit coil?

my friend used the petronix on his 69 mach1 with a 428 cj and alum heads and
all kinds of goodies, he had no problems with this system and the orignal
coil. but later decided to swap it all out for a MSD 6al system with the coil
and billet distributor.

i've had a projection 2 on a '67 ch*velle for probably 5 or so years. one
w/o o2 sensor. i was kinda worried about the computer screwing up for a
while, but it's done ok. i used to carry the fuel pump and carb in the trunk
just in case. it really added mid and top over the 4bbl that was on it. i
think you need a bunch of cam for the 4's, but you can mess with the pressure
on the injectors and tame them somewhat. i used the stock lines for pick-up
and return lines.

Subject: FTE Perf - EFI on new 460 engines

I have been doing some research on EFI conversions, and factory EFI. I
wish to convert my 400 to Port Injection. If I can find some of the
parts in the scrap yard, then my project will be feasable. Limited funds
require a combination of home brew stuff and used parts.

Questions:

Do the new 460 engines use Port Fuel Injection or are they still TBI?

Does anyone here have the technology to build a sheet metal intake for
the 400?
I can supply the specs for the runners.

What are the connection for the E40D.. ie: wiring and functions of
same?

I will not be swapping the 400 for a 460. This is not an option.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks
