Hmmmm that is strange, it took me about 3.5 hours to do the install on mine, but I'm not experienced, had NO power tools (good old foot on the socket wrench), had to hand hacksaw the old one off in 2 pieces, and never jacked the vehicle up. Anyway It shouldn't have taken them that long to do it regardless....
